3 Core Sources of Your Income

Heard from someone saying that there are 3 core sources of income in our life, and I think it could be applied to anyone, includes housewives.

1) 1st Income Source: Your Current Job

Let's talk about the 1st income source. If you are having a permanent full-time job, good! But is it enough? Who can guarantee a permanent job is really permanent? No one wants to work for life. You might have spent 1/3 of your day to contribute in your current job, maybe less. At the end of the month, you get your salary. So, what you will do next? Pay your home loan (or rental), car loan, credit card, and misc bills. Then don't forget about the tithing (if you are a Christian), give some money to your parents (some of us are being taught to do so), shopping (not limited to girls only) and so on. Ha-ha, you save the BEST for the last - maybe the leftover 100 bucks? Then you wait for another 1st day of the month.

The above example may not be applied to every one of us in a sense. Think about the worse when one has over-spent and in debt. As such, sourcing for a second and even third income is necessary. Of course, having another full-time job could cause us collapse. Hence, it is wise to look for a part-time business (2nd source) and do some investment (3rd source).

2) 2nd Income Source: A Part-time Job/Business

Well, do something you are interested for your part-time business. You can join Hubpages if you like writing, like me. Or doing some handcrafting whatever. In short, enjoy your part-time business. In return, you can use this money to exchange for your favorites. Travel to your dream vacation or buy your dream mobile phone.

3) 3rd Income Source: Investment

Last but not least, investment. Long-term, short-term or intermediate, save some money from your daily expenses and invest. If you manage to save 5 bucks a day, you shall get 150 bucks a month. Invest the money with appropriate channels such as unit trust, fixed deposit, insurance or anything you can think of. Just remember that you shall not try to withdraw this money within 6 months and best you can stay longer.

Not difficult, right? However, I can't guarantee that you can make big money by implementing these 3 practices. But at least you may have some ideas to attain extra income. Especially if you are a housewife, take care of your family is your full-time job (extremely FULL time). Besides that, you can start looking to seek something else to do, and earn some extra income. Also, try to do some investment. After making effort for a year, reward yourself with something you long for. That is the sparkling moment beyond words.
